Mozart's Apartment

The Mozarthaus in the 1st District of Vienna was Mozart's residence during the most successful years of his career (1784-1787). The residence is now a museum open to the public.

The Mozarthaus is also known as the "Figaro House" because Mozart composed his greatest opera, The Marriage of Figaro, at this residence in 1786.
