Saint Stephens Cathedral

Saint Stephens Cathedral is a 12th century church in the center of Vienna's 1st District and has many connections to both Haydn and Mozart.

SAINT STEPHENS CATHEDRAL - VIENNA

Haydn lived and sang as a choirboy in Saint Stephens Cathedral from 1740-1749. Haydn left the choir after his adolescent singing voice changed.

SAINT STEPHENS CATHEDRAL

Mozart and Constanze Weber were married here in 1782. Mozart's funeral was also held here nine years later in 1791.
