Vienna

During the Classical Period, the city of Vienna was not only the capital city of the Holy Roman Empire, but was also the center of music culture. Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven were all residents of Vienna during the late 18th Century and early 19th Century.


VIENNA IN MODERN AUSTRIA

There are a number of sights in modern day Vienna with ties to Haydn, Mozart, and Beethoven. Although, some locations were damaged or destroyed during the Second World War, there are many historical sights that are in tact and wonderful to visit. Below are a few of my personal favorites:
